We have many fun programs for this fall starting in September! We will be having weekly story times and our After School @ the Library program begins in October. The Lafayette Symphony Orchestra will also be making an appearance in September. Come in to the Children's Department today to pick up the Fall 2013 program brochure.

Family Story Hour (All Ages): Tuesdays, 7:00-7:30 PM
Baby Lap-Sit (3mo. -2 yrs): Thursdays, 9:30-10:00 AM
Toddler Hour (2-4 yrs): Thursdays, 10:00-11:00 AM
Preschool Hour (4-6 yrs): Thursdays, 11:30-12:15 PM

Northwest Carroll Branch in Yeoman
Preschool Hour (all ages): Wednesdays, 10:30-11:30 AM

We will also write new posts before our special programs and all of the upcoming events will be written on the blog.

Big Changes

There is a big change in the Children's/Young Adult Department! Miss Marcia has retired! She was a wonderful Librarian, teacher, and friend and will be missed by all. Join us for a Retirement Reception in Marcia Sledd's honor to celebrate her 28 years of service to the community. The reception will be at the library.

Presentation and Program is at 2:00 PM

We now have a new Librarian in charge, Lauren Brannon. She has five years of experience working in libraries and also has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.

Summer Reading Club 2013

Summer Reading Club is officially over for this year! Thank you to everyone who participated in the program and came to our events.
